Most frequent questions and answers
Botox in Reno is priced per unit, and the cost varies by provider, the area being treated, and how many units you need. Because every face is different, the most accurate way to get a cost estimate is during a consultation. Your injector will assess which areas you’d like to address and give you a unit recommendation before any treatment begins. We’re happy to walk you through the numbers with no pressure or obligation.
It depends on the treatment area and the strength of your facial muscles. Forehead lines typically require 10 to 20 units. Crow’s feet around each eye may need 5 to 15 units. Frown lines between the brows commonly use 20 to 25 units. Your injector will provide a personalized unit estimate during your consultation based on your goals and anatomy.
Most clients enjoy results for 3 to 4 months. Some metabolize Botox faster (2 to 3 months), while others see results lasting up to 6 months. Over time, with regular treatments, many clients find their results last progressively longer as the treated muscles gradually weaken, meaning fewer units are needed less often.
You’ll notice the initial effects within 3 to 5 days of your appointment. Full results appear at the 14-day mark. If you feel any area needs a small touch-up after two weeks, we’re happy to assess it at a follow-up visit.
For the first 4 hours after your injection, avoid lying face-down, rubbing or touching the treated area, and strenuous exercise. This helps prevent the Botox from shifting away from the targeted muscles. After those 4 hours, you can resume all normal activities with no restrictions.
Yes. Botox has been FDA-approved for cosmetic use since 2002 and is backed by more than 500 clinical studies. When administered by trained medical professionals, like our RN team, Botox is one of the most rigorously studied and safest cosmetic procedures available. Side effects are minimal and temporary for most patients.
Yes to both. Botox is FDA-approved for treating hyperhidrosis (excessive underarm sweating) and for chronic migraine prevention. We offer dedicated treatment options for each. If either condition affects you, mention it during your consultation. We can address both cosmetic and medical concerns in a single visit when appropriate.
Not at all. Botox works at every age. Clients in their 40s, 50s, and beyond regularly achieve excellent results, softening deeper lines, lifting the brow, and refreshing their overall appearance. The right treatment plan is about your goals, not your age. We’ll tailor the approach to where you are right now.
